DOT Training
Enviro-Safe can provide training to help clients comply with the requirements set forth in the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR). Current DOT regulations require training for new employees within 90 days of hire, and retraining (every 3 years) of all employees who perform work functions covered by the HMR; 49 CFR Parts 171-180. Any employee who works in a shipping, receiving or material handling area or who may be involved in loading, unloading, preparing or transporting hazardous materials, are required to complete training. Training includes learning about shipping papers, manifests, BOL's, labels, markings, placards, etc. Training ranges from raising safety awareness to focusing on employee site-specific training. Sessions are scheduled based on our client’s needs.
