MMAC Future 50

Enviro-Safe Resource Recovery has been named a 2019 Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) Future 50 award winner. Enviro-Safe was also a recipient of the award in 2005 and 2006, and as a third-time recipient is designated as a Master Mettle winner. The MMAC Future 50 annual program recognizes the fastest growing companies in terms of revenue and employment from across the seven-county Milwaukee region. President and CEO of Enviro-Safe, Jeffrey Vilione, said controlled growth has always been a focus since he founded the company 17 years ago.

“I think loving what you do, the environment and the industry you are in can only help drive success,” he said. “When Enviro-Safe was founded in 2002, the mission was always to grow. We are proud to say that we have grown each year since conception.” Vilione advises founders of startups to have a strong work ethic combined with a growth-or-die mindset. He also emphasizes the importance of cash management, understanding their industry, as well as being aware of competing companies.

“Enviro-Safe has a great story to tell. We are a green sustainable waste management recycling company, with consistent growth every year, a high customer retention rate and provide great customer service. The problem is not filling a job slot; our challenge is finding the individuals who love their job and have the right attitude believing in our mission and wanting to grow with us.” Vilione said he is honored to be recognized with the award and attributes the accomplishment to his employees and clients.

“This is truly a great honor and sense of accomplishment not for just for [my wife and partner] Dawn and myself, but more importantly our employees and our customers. Everyone plays a vital role in these awards; our employees for all of their time and hard work, and our customers for their belief and trust in our systems. Enviro-Safe has been blessed over the years with numerous awards for growth and the environment, both nationally and locally, and we are very proud and humbled by these achievements. Being a Master Mettle recipient is a test and barometer indicating we are on the right track and doing the necessary things to be in this position.”
