Requesting accumulation time extension

Notification of Hazardous Waste Activities

Per the WDNR's website:

Wisconsin's hazardous waste regulations allow both LQGs and SQGs to request an accumulation (storage) time limit extension in the event of unforeseen, temporary or uncontrollable circumstances that prevent shipment of hazardous waste off-site within the 90-day timeframe allowed for LQGs and or 180-day timeframe allowed for SQGs.

There are additional accumulation timeframes related to the off-site treatment, storage or disposal at facilities 200 miles or more from the generator. Please review these options in the HW accumulation time extension tab.
